Dear all,
some of you will be aware that my diving season seems to be cursed this year. Well the curse has struck again!
I am due to be on a liveaboard trip to Scapa Flow & the Northern Isles this saturday week. Dates are 5th - 12th August. At the last moment my buddy has had to cry off and potentially this means I cant go.
The trip is on MV Bounteous sea and the boat is filled with a fine group of divers on a mix of OC and RB's including our own Adrian Kelland
However, every cloud has a silver lining. We have paid for the trip including the ferry and as my buddy would lose his money anyway he has said that if someone can fill his space he doesn't want any money for it. So, this means that if you are available you could have a free weeks diving in the worlds wreck capital.
Depths on the trip are up to 45M so suitable for dive leaders or experienced SD who is happy to stay on the shallower parts of these enormous ships.
There is one small catch. My buddy pulling out impacts on me because he was taking his car and me! My wife has family down from Scotland that week and needs our car so we would either have to take your car or leave yours with Mrs E and take mine. I would need to be picked up from Poole or meet up somewhere near.
Any takers???
For what its worth our plan was to stretch out the journey by going early and diving the Farne Islands or St Abbs on the way up, so if we could leave on say Wed 2nd that would be even better.
