Hi All
I have recently bought a Aquatec dry suit off e-bay (Like New) which has size 10 boots fitted. My present fins although large will not fit properly onto these.
Could anyone recommmend a set of fins which will fit comfortably onto size 10 boots
Cheers
Paul

Paul,
Sorry, mate. Everything depends on the fin manufacturer's last.
Different manufacturers sizing will differ sufficiently to make this a minefield for you. I can offer only three ideas -
- take the suit with you when considering fins,
- get the LDS to agree to exchange if wrong, or
- size the boots against your walking boots / trainers / brogues / whatever until you find an equivalent.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Aye, all depends on the fin. Something like Mares, XL will fit everything from size 8 to as big as they go really. With others, you need XXXL to fit a size 11 (or something silly like that).
Incidentally, are the boots actually a good fit, or are they a bit big (given that your current fins no longer fit)? While bigger fins may fit the boots, if the boots are too big you might find the boot (and the fin) just fall off the end of your legs... which isn't a good thing!

I bought the Dry suit with the padded socks thrown in, so they fit ok with them on.
My other fins fit OK with my wet suit boots
i got cressi-sub fins which are l-xl and fit perfectly but i would say you take your suit to a local dive shop and put the boot in the fin
