Am i missing something or has the instructor forum gone now??

If it’s hidden away from general access, does being an assistant instructor entitle me to gain access?

Reason for asking:
Was interested in back tracking an discussion over the BSAC 88 accent rate figure of 15m per minute, after getting the question wrong on the on-line revision

Just goes to show I’m more fallible than dive computer instructions!

Seem to remember a discussion about re-vamping tables & bringing them in line with other agencies I.E. 10m per minute. Am i correct in thinking this, & if so is it going to happen?

Mark,

The instructor's forum is in the BSAC members only section. If you enter your membership details (Member no, branch no and renewal month) you should automatically get access after a few minutes. The system uses info re instructor status from the membership system. Your details are not made public.

Yes - assuming you've entered your membership number as per Ade's post and HQ has your IFC attendance on file.

We've picked you up as a member OK, but I've checked the HQ database and we've still got you down as a trainee (crossover?) and there is currently no Assistant Instructor status. It's probably us, we've had trouble in that area with the data coversion to the new Neptune system.

IFC attendance (and history) is part of what we call Events within Neptune, it's not yet live but it will be shortly. When we get that data up and running what I'm going to is hook into that so that just booking on an IFC will grant you access.

I've given you manual guest access, you should be OK now.
