Hi all,

I have lost my UK800 torch while doing a drift dive on the "fossil forrest ledges", off Kimmeridge, on Saturday the 10th of June in the morning. If anybody has heard of a found torch please forward my details on, I can be contacted via this site. Thank you very much!

That's freaky - I lost my torch at Kimmeridge on June 12th. It was also a UK800. Fortunately we were only in the shallows of the cove by the slipways and I was able to retrace my steps and recover it.

Best of luck - I know my heart sank when I realised mine had gone!

I know, it was a good torch... I'd become quite attached to it too, I don't think it can truly ever be replaced! Thanks for the moral support...

Sorry!
But that appears to be the problem!...you were NOT attached to it! (well not physically anyway!)

Sorry to hear that your emotional attachement to it has been severed...perhaps you'll form a more complex relationship with it when it gets returned to you? (fingers crossed)

Well, believe it or not. My dive club went back to the same dive site, and someone found my torch! Still working, after 6 weeks in the water. That has to say something about uk800s!! I've gotten a new torch in the meantime, so the lucky finder will get a very special deal when buying it back, since they want it! Thanks anyway for reading!

Nice to hear Lis.

UK used to have a ad regarding how one of their torches was found sometime afetr a loss. It was still working.
