Hello,
Has anyone seen or read the new (2nd) edition of Lippmans book, if yes what did you think of it.
Is it a good by? Ok i know any book by J. Lippmann is a good by, but is the decompression theory upto date and understandable to a Non-Science-Geek?

Thanks

i got this at the london dive show in april having been searching for it for a few months, i like it. I think he gets the info across well, though i don't know how "up-to-date" the deco theories are, i do think it is comprehensible to a non-scientist, but i am a scientist so that might be a biased view?!

Hi All,
i have now finished the first few chapters of the book and are totally amased.
John Lippman has suceeded in writing a book which explains the complex scientific subjects in a very easily understandable language.
It is the first advanced diving science book which did not make me feel stupid.

I can only recommedn it to anyone interested to deepen his scuba knowledge.

Where did you order the 2nd ed. from?
Amzaon.co.uk only gives me the 1st ed (1992)?

Cheers,
