Hello dears.

Does anyone know how, or even if  , I can alter the time setting on my Aladin Air via DataTalk and the Memomouse thingy?

It seems to be an hour or two out and I'm feeling a dash pedantic at the moment :o

Thanks muchly.

Martyn.

hi Martyn,

IIRC the Alladin doesn't keep a clock as such but runs an 'elapsed time counter' which is only converted to a clock time when it is transferred to your PC, counting back from the time setting in your PC's OS. So the likely cause of the 'incorrect time' for your dive is an incorrect clock setting on the PC you
are downloading to. When I had a similar 'problem' I corrected the time on my PC, deleted the dives from datatrak and re-transferred them. (assuming you haven't done so much diving since they've been lost) another way round it could be to 'correct local time' for the affected dives.

But from there individual dives can be adjusted via DataTrak, useful when you come home from a different time zone. What you do is select the dive(s) in DataTrak and then you can 'Adjust Local Time' for those dives from either the toolbar icon or the 'Dives' menu.
