Still don't like the family tree at the top when you go to a thread, or post a new thread, it's much better to see at a glance what has been written before, hence the reason for putting a thread in the first place

Appears to be a problem when you first do a post as with my one above.

I initially tried thread starter, then thread, then new thread as nothing happened with the other two.

It has put a blank thread above my first one for some reason, why?

Is it something I'm doing wrong

I think you are talking about thread display mode. If you go to the User Options section of your control panel, there is a Thread Display option. I think you may be using Hybrid. I prefer Linear - older first (like YD).

Thanks for that. I prefer the linear as well, it's easier to understand the gist of the threads then
