Having done the first part of a DPM course, with the second part to complete bank holiday weekend, I have been set the challenge of finding out about the smalls off pembrokeshire.
So, anyone any information?
Slack times, which bits to do, which not to do, whether to bother at all, etc any other odd bits of information that will make me look fantastically smart?

Thanks all

Gordon

Google can make you look smart Gordon. :) http://www.dive-pembrokeshire.com/infos.html

I can vouch for the long walk at Dale.

Have a chat with Brian Dilly ;) He has a couple of hardboats.

Sort your accommodation here, and boats, gas.....

Smalls are rather good, need to check the weather.

Think Llannelli and Carmarthen club tend to launch out of Fishguard with their club boats if you're planning on going that route.

If you are going to be chartering Brian, as the bloke above says, is very good we've rung him up last minute sometimes adn he's found us a few places. He does some very nice mid week specials if you can get the time off.

There are a few more charters aroud the area this one based out of Fishguard I don't know much about but they have a 5 day forecast and tides on their website:

These guys are based out of Neyland. They're really nice and very laid back.

Does anyone who if our very own Mike Halligan managed his trip to the Smalls?

Sorry, Paul,

That was the Small Isles and whilst I've been there several times, 'twas always arranged by better minds than mine.

Back there tomorrow :D :D :D

Thanks for trying all, in the end the weather said we couldnt do the smalls.
We had some cracking dives on the behar and the dakotian. The Vis around Skomer and Skokholm is a bit pants at the moment, but Stack rocks and the Hen and chicks are fantastic. A great weeks diving around pembrokeshire.
