Truly unbelievable! Does anyone know what the development there is?

I count myself lucky to be one of the last people to stay on Sipadan before all the resorts were closed. I had no idea they were developing any new infrastructure on the island.

If anyone has any news can they post here and I will direct all my fellow divers to this thread.

Truly unbelievable! Does anyone know what the development there is?

As far as I was aware, there wasn't meant to be any development on the island. They had closed the dive centres on the island in order to protect the reef....and then allow this sort of ecological stupidity to happen.

I dived at sipadan this year and the diving is 'still' amazing! the best of the btes, hope it stays this way.
