Hola diving chef, just joined myself! Sounds like you made a good move to Spain. I've only dived in Majorca - that was nice - warm, good viz and cute critters.

We have a wreck called the Galicia not far from me, I wonder where it is named after.

Welcome to the show.

Hi
I was brought up in Mallorca before the tourist boom ( giving age away) it was as good as red sea in places but about had it now !

Yes the SS Galicia sounds familiar

Nice to hear from the NW corner of the world's most veautiful country.

What sort of water temps are we looking at in July Aug.

Can you recommend any good websites for diving the Galician coast (even if Spanish, I like the piccies), I am interested Las Islas Cies.

Hi Cris
http://www.mma.es/parques/lared/islas_atlan/index.htm
Is the state web site and gives you a good insight into the parks.
also type Islas atlanticas into google.es
www.ciesub.com
A permit is required and can take a few days to get in high season.
I got 18C this summer but topside was 34C
We are hoping to have a BSAC club set up by next year so youd b welcome to join us.........What you doing Sunday ??
I dont like to plug it on the forum but have a look at our website.
