Hi Guys (and Gals).
Having been a diver in the Royal Navy for some 4 years (I left 15 yrs ago) I have been on numerous holidays and only been able to do the "try dives" because of the lack of qualification afforded us in the civilian world (even though I'd had loads more time in the water than most of my "instructors").
I was in Turkey last week and decided to do a three day CMAS 1* course to gain at least a modicum of qualification.
Having got back and looking around the various websites I can't see any affiliation to CMAS, am I missing something or would I have to do other courses with PADI for example before becoming a member of a local BSAC branch??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Chris
