Having spent 9 hours on Sunday at East Cheshire SAC (WHAT A FANTASTIC SET UP) doing Advanced diver lectures, I now need to plan for AP2 but being in a club without Advanced diver instructor I will need some help.
Also trying to find somewhere we haven't dived before.
So any help & idea's appreciated.

Big thanks to East Cheshire SAC ( IF ONLY IT WAS A BIT NEARER)

Try contacting your Regional Coach to see if they can put you in touch with any available Advanced Instructors who may be available to help. You may need to be flexible with your dates to fit in with them.

As for location, that's up to you - part of being an Advanced Diver is to choose an appropriate site. ;)

As the site may be known to the Advanced Instructor, one thing worth considering is going away somewhere for the weekend that your branch has never been to and trying to get a local AI to help rather than taking one with you. If you fancy a trip up to the North East of Scotland I'd be more than willing to help.

Cheers!

Like Dave mentioned it is worth taking the time to contact your Regional Coach first about assistance.

You might also want to consider contacting Sarah Jepson. She is the West Midlands Regional Advanced Diver Coordinator (that's a mouthful) http://westmidlands.bsacregions.org/Advance_DL.asp. She is currently involved in assisting with a couple AP2 events over the next few weeks. I know that she would be more than willing to assist you with any practical help or advice you may require on becoming a AD.

Happy planning :p
