For anyone interested in diving with seals and other wildlife dives then I thought it might be worth highlighting the following plans for 2006.
1.Evening dives (eta Seahouses 1845 /depart SH 1915) - best suited to divers local to Newcastle / Northumberland - plan will be for high water dive in area of Longstone (Longstone end/ Brada / Hopper region) or Scarkars - focus on seals.
2.If there is sufficient interest there is also potential for night dives with the seals in July,August & September - advanced / experienced divers only - sorry!
3."Day" dives from Seahouses with emphasis on searching for seals and opportunity for min 2 dives and potentially more. Dives likely to be quite shallow - would suit all levels.
4.The long awaited "Herring dive" - scheduled for August / early Sept - plan to dive into herring shoals offshore (whilst they are being predated on by Gannets/ Seals etc.) - Advanced / Experienced divers only. Herring dependant! places will be limited.
Divers will pay all monies direct to skipper.
