Which Echo Sounder?

It looks as if our trusty echo sounder has give up the ghost after more than 10 years faithful service.

Any recommendations on what we should replace it with?
Budget - TBD but is unlikely to stretch to a wreckfinder (£1,000)

The new one will be mounted on top of the console, so will need to be seen in day light.
We have a GPS with a map so we do not need a combined unit.
Obvoiusly it needs to be waterproof and up to being shaken about a lot.
