I am probably going to Sardinia in late June and was wandering what the water temperature would be like, and what type of suit you would recommend.
I currently have a 3mm wetsuit, a 2 piece 7mm semi-dry and a membrane drysuit.
Thanks

Hi Barnaby
Have you had a look at our Sardinia info page which also contains links to trip reports and online articles on diving Sardinia?
http://www.bsactravelclub.co.uk/where/sardinia.htm
You should find what you need there.
Let us know how you get on by writing a trip report for the Travel Club website. Will be very glad to publish it for you, just email me the text and any photos as seperate files to alison.boler@bsactravelclub.co.uk
All the best

Unfortunately it gives a very wide range of temperatures, 14-24 degree, and I can't tell where in that range it will be in June. At the lower end of that I would be picking the drysuit, and the higher end would probably be ok with the 3mm I guess, but almost all of my diving has been in the UK, so all advice would be welcome.
Many thanks

Barnaby,
May I suggest a rough & dirty method for you?
The winter temp on land and in-water is 12;
the July/August temp on land is 31, in-water 24.
By extrapolation, say 20-ish in June.
