Maldives Liveaboard

I'm looking for suggestions for good liveaboards. I'm planning a trip in December/January 07 and looking to do a 7/8 day trip followed by 5/7 day stay on an island. Any suggestions welcome.

Firstly, I would suggest that you spend the first week on an island acclimatising yourself to the humidity, getting over the air flight and generally winding down.

I recommend that you book your second liveaboard week with Maldive Scuba Tours on either Sea Queen or Sea Spirit. Each boat has two/three divemasters and they're all great guys.

My wife and I have been with them 6 times and would not hesitate going back with them again. The island I like is Vilamendhoo in South Ari Atoll.
