The charger for my 1250 speed has dicided to stop working and start blowing fuses for a pastime.
If anyone has recently lost a speed torch (all the same charger:- model no. SDA5520) or otherwise finds themselves with a charger surplus to requirements please let me know and we may be able to come to a deal.
Cheers,
Dave.

Don't chuck the charger just yet until you've isolated the cause. I have the same torch, and having opened it to reseat a bulb that bounced out after 150 or so dives ( but still worked  ), a significant amount of charging related electronics are inside the torch IIRC.

The torch works fine and takes a charge nicely, its the several toasted components in the charger that are the problem:(

Hi David

Give Jack Bird at Lighthouse Diving a bell on 01599 577 277. He's the Kowalski Distributor for the UK and will be able to sort you out. He can talk Kowalski's from here to breakfast time.

I already tried that, he thinks that they are not economicaly repairable and they cost a whopping £50 to replace.
Alternatively I could be talked into selling the torch instead of replacing the charger.
Dave.
