Diving Barcelona

Looking at spending a couple of days in Barcelona v. soon and would be good to get a dive in - anyone know of any dive centres out there/and or what to expect.

The Medas Islands are a reserve and are near Girona, which is a bit futher up the coast. We did a Club trip (http://www.hellfins.com/features/spain/index.htm) there a couple of years back.

Very "Brits abroad". You should have no trouble getting a bacon, sausage, egg and beans, with chips on the side for breakfast if that's your thing. Although the touristy stuff was starting to shut up when we were there in October. I imagine it's quite dead in the winter.

I was there as part of a group of a dozen, and by and large we made our own entertainment, so I can't really comment.

There are a lot of *very* cheap dive shops there though.
