Hi,
I know there is a thread asking a similar question, but it does not answer
my own similar query.
Me and the diving wife want to spend a week in North Wales with family this summer and fit in some diving. This can either be from Anglesey or the Conwy/Bangor area.
I'm looking for hardboats that can take 2 experienced divers (along with other guests) and advice on some good shore diving locations.
Thanks
Steve Parry

Hi steve ,
There is a hard boat operating out of beumorris ( sorry if i've spelt it wrong ) on Anglsey . If you get in contact with the northwest regonal coach he'll proberbly now the skippers name, and have contact details , if not ask for the coach who's just retired he'll definatly know. :)
Hope this helps
Neil

Hi Steve
I would ring Martin Sampson at Dive Anglesey and talk to him about what you want to do. He's well used to BSAC divers and their likes and dislikes.
It might also be worthwhile contacting either Liverpool or Hazel Grove BSAC Branches. I know they run boat dives along the north Wales coasts and on Anglesey a lot and maybe you could join forces - certainly they could advise. Try Geoff Oldfield at Liverpool or Ian (I think its Ian) Sharples at Hazel Grove. You could also give Alistair Reynolds a ring at HQ. He's a member of Liverpool branch and also an old N Wales hand.
You can certainly boat and shore dive there. The drift dive through the Menai Straits is a popular shore dive and a very interesting experience!!
Have a great time!

Hi Steve
Try Scott Waterman the skipper/owner of Endevour, who is based at Menai Bridge.

Great boat and skipper, and great diving, this is the 4th year in a row we're diving with him.
cheers

Thanks for the input everyone- I have enough information
to plan something now based on reccomendations & not
advertisments.
Good luck for July Sharon, I see you are very active and
positive in your approach- fingers crossed for you.

Steve:)
