Hello,

I am going to have to take my regs in for service (Scubapro) but wanted to ask a question here first. Last night in the pool my reg was breathing quite heavy in the horizontal position in the water. When taken to greater than 45 degrees up/down the air flow was virtually cut in half and breathing became quite difficult. I had similar difficulty with my Air2. Any ideas before I take it into the shop? There does not seem to be any engineering reason why this should happen.

Yes!...tell the person who is going to service it what the symptoms are and let them disgnose/fix it!

Anyone else doing it without seeing/breathing it is just guessing...and if you ask your technician to fix something that aint broke...it may get broke...and the original problem wont be fixed...just further masked!

If both second stages were affected, it's almost certainly a first stage problem.

If you're not happy servicing your own first stages, take it to someone who is...
