We are 3 Sports divers (75-150 dives each) wanting to do some build up dives Good Friday/Easter Saturday. Our club isn't making its usual Easter trip to Stoney this year. Is there another BSAC Club going to Stoney that would be ok if we tagged along.

Maybe...but no-one is sad enough to admit it!:D

I'll bet everyone will be wearing hoodies and dark masks to hide their embarrassment at not being in the sea:o

Look for little lumps of white, or those little packets you get in restaurants being secreted into D-V's or behind the teeth - as people try to put some salt flavour into their dives!

John

BTW
I'm going ....camping with my kids - so wont even be getting wet!(hopefully!:D )

Nope. We have one lot in the Sound of Mull right now and another lot off to Menorca on Saturday.

We made a "blood pact" never to dive Stoney unless there was a good reason, like teaching or new kit. Never, ever to just go "for a dive". At £15 for entry it's getting pricey- I can drive all the way to Plymouth and jump on my bro-in-laws RIB and have a much better time. And get my kit all salty and everything.

I'll probably be at work, which is marginally better than diving Stoney :-)

He's found one then Woz?Yep an ex-demo Ribeye. The one they keep at QAB to take prospective customers out on.

It's already booked up in May. Boy are we going to give it some hammer.

What are you looking for, exactly? Would you be bringing your own kit and diving together, or need to borrow kit or want to dive with an instructor / DL to do depth progression etc? Or just want someone on the surface as a dive marshall? I won't be there that weekend (oh my god can you imagine how busy it will be!!! I refuse to do bank holidays and weekends in Stoney now!) but if you don't need kit or just want an instructor rather than a "club" as such then you might be able to find something?
