The one from the BSAC shop is the official one...but it is the same for every branch.

I've seen many individual ones - and they look good!
The most "official" ones simply have the branch number below "Neptune's head")
They are also more personal!:)

I've even seen instructors with individual stamps with "Neptune's Head" and their instructor number.
For those instructors in Uni branches it saves signing 40 books after theory lecture nights!

Branch stamps are not technically necessary for anything other than awarding qualifications...and then any "accepted" stamp will do!;)

(I think!) I can't see it being a problem anyway.

What I can see is a sales opportunity for the shop!:D
Standard stamps that you can add Branch Number or Instructor number to when you order them.
Who'd buy one of those?

I thought about that, but should we really be stamping log books instead of signing? I always thought that had the potential to cause problems for them later on when someone looks and enquires as to why nothing's signed?

Not a problem in real life - the DO knows the instructor so he accepts the stamp. The DO then stamps and signs the qualification page which is all everyone else looks at

I'm sure that it will!
And since it has been viewed 27 times already ...I reckon that there may be some similar ones out there very soon!

Where did you get it from?
