So..how do you hide from the system?

it says that there are five members on line...and then lists only 4!

Who is the lurker...and how did they acheive that status?

John

(Obviously a completely irrelevant point...but I had to do something with the 12 seconds from 9m-6m - and this is what I thought of!):p

Some people can choose "Hidden status"

Just go to your User CP - select EDIT OPTIONS then tick the box under "Use Invisible Mode."

I'm not sure how many users have access to this option but some of us do and we use it when we are in here just looking but don't have time to invite a flurry of PM activity.

Cheers,
Tristan

I stand corrected! The 'invisible' facility is available to all registered BSAC members, it is the Sys Admins and senior managers who can see you whether you're trying to hide or not :)

Oh No!
I went out and bought a new set of "important" clothes too!

Now I find that I'm not important at all!

Last time it was the fertility clinic who told me I was important (but they spelled it wrong!):(
I put an advert in the paper that time too! (they copied the spelling mistake too!)

Yeah Yeah. You're worse than my Dad. :D

He used to tell us that his antibiotic pills were to keep his sperm count down....
And I used to have an inferiority complex until I found out that I actually was inferior, now I'm OK with it. :p
