Hi I`m new not only to this forum but any forum so please be gentle. I own a
diverite superwing with the redundant bladder at the moment i don`t do the diving that this wing is capable of. In the future who knows, but at the moment I`d rather not have the twin bladder. Diverite say they don`t do a blanking plate does anyone have any ideas.

Hi Harry,

Welcome to the forum.

My Rec Wing can be unzipped and presumambly the bladder removed. Can you take out the extra bladder completely and use another suppliers blacking washers to fill the hole?

Thanks for the reply Adrian, but if other suppliers blanking plate fits the hole i can`t see the point in removing the bladder. Do other suppliers provide blanking plates on their products,

You might find that AP Valves do a male/female blanking set that would blank the hole, yet not cap the outlet from the bladder. It might be worth seeing if any hoses from friends kit fits, would give a clue.

I wouldn't want an open bladder trapping air so suggested removing it. That was the only reason.

If you can't find a good solution with your current wing, then remember that if you wanted something of a more suitable size for your current setup then the DiveRite wings are only £135 from GoDive - might be worth it if what you've got now is too big for you? I've got a Classic for twin 12's, and a Venture Wing for singles - all use the same backplate / harness etc so a cheap swap over.

I nearly bought the classic as i dive with 10`s, but opted for the superwings. I have thought of selling the superwings and buying the classic if anyone is interested.
