Not yet. Last time I asked, there were some hiccups that were delaying things. That was at the industry show in Coventry before Christmas.

I've just started the coaching process to be a snorkel instructor. I am doing the new syllabus and I will ask the club ASI/OWSI's on Sunday if they've had this yet.

My club haven't received the disc yet. Ordering for the new material on the website seems a bit funny too. Doesn't seem to come up directly but can be found on the search function.

No point in ordering it Andy, as a Snorkel Instructor you will be sent a copy FOC. When? Probably around the time you've given up and become a PADI instructor instead

I'd just been hunting around for more info on the new disc at the advice of one of the club members and it was one of the search results.

Hopefully the various training record systems will sort them self out as divers complete courses.

Heres a reply I got this morning from Debbie Powell at HQ about this

Hi Joe

I hope you are well.

Nick from the BSAC shop asked me to get back to you with regard to the status of the new Snorkel Instructor Resources CD.

Firstly, I am very sorry that it is taking this long. I’m afraid we are waiting for sign off so we can go to press with the CD. We are hoping to get that any day now in which case we hope to have the CDs in the next 2-3 weeks. I’m afraid I can’t give a cast iron guarantee however as there are factors outside my control affecting this, but rest assure we are doing the best we can.

Apologies again and we hope to have good news very soon. As soon as we have concrete news we’ll be letting our snorkelling instructors know and as you know they will be receiving a copy for free through the post.

If you have any further queries please don’t hesitate getting in touch.

I've just completed the SITCA this weekend and the Instructor trainers present had received the disc on Friday I believe. Obviously it's going to take a little while to get into circulation.

Also thanks to Margaret B, Nick & Graham for running this event.
