Hi all

I know that some of you have come to previous conferences, so hopefully you won't mind me letting you know that this year's shipwreck conference in Plymouth is on Saturday 4th February.

We have a varied speaker line-up covering a good variety of wreck types and locations:

Sean Fisher - Tenacity and Technology, The Search for the Atocha and the Future of Historic Shipwreck Search and Salvage

Mark Ellyatt - HMS Victoria – From Discovery till Today

Richard Larn - 30 years of westcountry shipwreck projects

Brett Phaneuf and Pal Nyomen - Recent Shipwreck Discoveries in Norway

Rex Cowan - An end to exploration and adventure? - What more will we see of VOC shipwrecks?

Pete Holt - An update on the SHIPS Project in Plymouth

Mike Williams - Update on the Marine Management Organisation

Mark Dunkley - Update on EH's position

Andy Seddon - 5 Year mission of BSAC Regional Expedition Diving Scheme to seek new wreck locations in Croatia

The conference costs £20 for the day (£15 for students)

Hi everyone

Please be advised that there are only 50 tickets currently left unsold for the conference and that pre-booking is now closed, so the remaining tickets will be sold in the morning on a first come first served basis. Regretably, as noted on the conference website, last year the auditorium was almost filled to capacity and we will have to turn people away at the door if we reach the room limit.

Regards

Allen
