Hi,
I've just asked Air Products to quote me for Diving Helium. I'm not terribly impressed with the price quoted.
Would be interested to know (via PM or otherwise) what other people are paying for low usage orders. I suspect they have considerable room to maneouvre as they did when I challenged the initial prices quoted for O2 when I took the account!
Cheers,
Paul
er I was quoted ~£160 lost the email
Oxygen btw ~£35
What have you been quoted at?
at £160 per J its still only 1.5 p a litre

I also think they make up the prices as they go.

We buy helium J's quite regularly from Stavanger. £150 a pop. Even bloody helium costs more in Norway, and they use loads of the stuff. If you buy it locally in Bergen they want £180 a go!!
I envy you YBOD'ers!
On the topic of Helium suppliers, I heard on the radio a couple of days ago that BOC have just been taken over /agreed to be taken over by Linde (aka Air Products) - not much competition left in that market by the looks of it.
