Hi there, and welcome to the forum.

If you dive the lakes and like bottles, try here:

Ullswater: Howtown Pier (http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/freshwaterdiver/Web%20Pages/Ullswater1.htm)

I've never dived it so can't personally recommend it, but I've read about it and heard about it. If you do dive it, post back.

Happy diving :)

Chuckle. :)

I can tall you of a wreck locally, about 47 metres down, where you are likely to find beer bottles dated 1916, the year before the Nerong went down. Now that might not be "old" by your standards but it sure is by ours.

Incidentally, I didn't find either of mine, they were found by a "proper-like" wreck rat, I prefer to photograph the things but I was quite happy to relieve him of some of his booty. Now, if he'd started leveraging bits of wreck rather than digging in the dirt i would not have been a happy chappy. The Nerong, BTW, is often so swathed in fish you can't see the wreck until you "part the waves", as it were and we've sometimes been entertained by dolphins on deco, oh, and the odd mako shark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shortfin_mako_shark).

Come on downunder sometime, I'll be happy to show you the Nerong. :D
