The discussion about Trimix and Greenlands Ice has got my thinking!
The good news is that everyone not a diver - will be knocking at the door wanting to learn.
More good news is that the seas and oceans will become larger = more choice of dive sites. Dive London, Dive the Big Wheel  all may become future slogons in the travel agents shop window.
But if you want to use your computer to help the scientists understand how things MAY change then you can do worse than click on this link.

SETI is not just about the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligent Life - the BOINC project is a spin off from SETI. Simply download the software and choose which project you want to help!
Great screen saver graphics come included.
Surely with Greenland's ice desalinating the North Atlantic and the sudden cooling of north-west europe due to the switch-off of 'The Great Conveyor Belt', sea levels are bound to fall as water is locked up in the new ice?
No need for the channel tunnel - that can become a big cave dive - and loads of 'deep' virgin wrecks to get spidge from - I can't wait :)

Yep - good news. I don't have to drive to the sea, just sit on the roof of my house & the sea (warm at that) will come to me :)

 That's an interesting thought - if the sea water has less salt (antifreeze) it might ice up more readily - hummmm.

Think I'll get into grape growing when the warmer weather comes up here in the north - how many years will we have to wait  i wonder.
One good thing for us is that we are up on a bit of a hill :D

Didn't know it cost £30,000 smackers to dive - it sounds "cheap" enough considering the sail out there and what's generally involved.
Just think. If they get something out there a bit bigger, a sub that can hold more people then that would drop the cost and I'll bet plenty of us would be in the queue to take that trip.
Would that be ethical though?
I know Bob Ballard played the 4 seasons classical music on the way down so the entertainment during the trip will be good.
Have read his book Discovering the Titanic - it's still a riviting read after all these years and I've read it three times. In fact it's probably time to read it again :)
