There was a problem with the server rejecting emails to any xxx@bsac.com email address, how embarrassing :rolleyes: Some of you had problems with not receiving verification emails, notably Dave, Mark and Edward. Can I ask only the people who had problems to try registerring a new account (stick a -test or something after your ID). Some changes have been made and I've enabled the registration system again for this test, I'll see you try and register and from there I can check the mail logs to make sure the mail is leaving us OK. If you can confirm your email address if you get the email then I'll know you've received it.

Seems to work OK now. I just registered North Scotland Coach and got the verification email, followed the link and have access to all the areas I should have including Coaching and ITS.

Access to Coaching was my manual intervention, I had to go in anyway to enable you. But you've given me an idea... I can detect xxx.coach@bsac.com in your email address, I could mod the automatic system to add those to Coaching automatically - how does that sound?

That might work. Perhaps the Coaches then could 'hand over' these accounts when they hand over their posts to successors as obviously these email addresses will be handed over. What do you think?

Thanks Dave and others. The @bsac.com problem is definately fixed, I am happy that our outbound email is working. Some users may have specific downstream problems with their anti-spam but that's beyond our control!

I've turned the new registrations off again for now.
