Hello All.
Can anyone tell me what they think about an APEX REGULATOR 1ST AND 2ND STAGES TX 40, Second hand 5 yrs old, are they any good in the cold, reliable, serviceable and ok to buy second hand. Also the same sort of info regarding a SPIRO / AQUALUNG NORDIC 1ST 2ND STAGE. again second hand 9 yr old. plus which one (if any) would be best to buy to get started with at a cost of around £100. working but not serviced. thanx

I don't think you can go too wrong with Apex and if you are getting it serviced even more so. Mine are not 5 years old though.

However if you look here at SDS Watersports (http://www.sdswatersports.co.uk/Index900.htm) you can get a brand new TX40 for £125 which is an even better deal :)

You can get a brand new TX40/DS4 from SDS Watersports for £125. I'd run away screaming like a girl.

Yes, these days you can pick up a great DS4/TX50 deal dead cheap. Go for it. :)

And have fun blowing bubbles. If you like the sport (I'm sure you will) be prepared for an endless love/hate affair with dive kit! :p
