Isle of Man - Dive Boats

Hi everyone,

I am looking for dive boats that operate from the Isle of Man. I want to take about 6 divers from our club on the 2nd weekend in July.

I've tried Mike Keggen at Isle Of Man Diving Holidays, but he is already booked that weekend, so I wondered if anyone else has any recommendations. Couldn't find a trip report on IOM and I don't have a copy of the diver guide..

Not fussed whether its a hard boat or RIB, and looking for dive sites up to 35m max.

Can anyone help with some contacts?

I'm a firm believer in Googling for info :). I appreciate that is nowhere as good as getting a recommendation from a fellow diver but ...........

Anyway, please hurry up and go so I can read your dive reports to find out if it is worth going.

I'm more interested in wrecks than prodding so ..... erm, it'd be nice if you could plan your dives accordingly!!

Why don't you take your own branch boat? We are taking around 4 RIBs over from the mainland that week. Looking forward to a good weeks diving! I can certainly vouch for the Isle of Man - fantastic diving! :)

Unfortunately (or fortunately - depending on your point of view) we currently do not have a club boat. Therefore not an option for us.

I would seriously consider having the boat based in Port St Mary, the dives out of douglas can at best be descibed as ok, the dives from the south are excellent epecially around the calf! The south gives more choice in windy conditions as both sides of the island are easily available when the boat will be weatherbound in douglas.

I think that is exactly what we are going to do. Gary reckons St Mary is fine for that week, and I have found somewhere to stay in Port Erin.
