Can someone tell me how the UKSDMC members are selected/elected? Indeed I can't find any info about how they operate. They seem to be a "black box" that just make decisions without any way non-committee members taking part in the debate.

Seems eminently sensible really they want doctors with knowledge of dive medicine who are also divers

If your not one of them I would humbly suggest you shut up before making statements like you did

Presumably they are elected by their membership, the diving referees? There's info on their website on becoming a referee:
