Have a look at JDeco. It will run on your phone! V 1 is Buhlmann V 2 can be set to run VPM. Also does blending and stuff too.

Other PC based ones- HL Planner. Easy to use.

Do you mean jdeco or some other program? If it's the mobile phone one you're after it's here:

What about Nigel's nvDeco? Seems to do most of what you want and its written by a real diver!

What about Nigel's nvDeco? Seems to do most of what you want and its written by a real diver!I know a bunch of people use it but it has some bugs (not with the profiles but with the display on the IPAQ). I don't use it enough to fix it these days so I took it off the site.

Sorry. It's on the list of things to do when I get to the bottom of the pile of things people are threatening me with piles of money if I finish them.

BenThat's the one. £20 for the unlock code to make it fully functional and the bloke who wrote it is as helpful as anything.

I've got v-planner and GAP Lite on my pocket pc. It's nice to be able to compare different models (Buhlmann, VPM and RGBM)

You can get GAP Lite here, http://www.gap-software.com/ but if I remember correctly, there's no demo mode on the pocketPC version, so you can only play with it after you buy the license key. €49, which I guess is around £35 (?)

I think the desktop versions (which I don't have), do have some degree of functionality before you have to have register it.

ProPlanner.

Also, I have read somewhere (probably in Diver magazine) about some new option that gives access to various deco software options.

I'll have a look tonight and post the info later.

[EDIT]Oops, forgot about the 'pocket' bit. It's a good thing that my bits are all securely attached else I'd have left them behind somewhere years ago.

ProPlanner

I thought ProPlanner was an old MS-DOS application, and that it forms the basis of what's inside a VR3 diver computer? I've also seen reference to Pro-Dive Planner, but I suspect that this is just a shorter name for ProPlanner.

Don't have a VR3 or ProPlanner so can't really confirm, but I'm sure someone will chime in shortly :)

Above I meant Pro-Dive Planner.

The article I refered to was in Beyond the Blue magazine and the "option" is at www.nautilusdiveplanner.com (http://www.nautilusdiveplanner.com) - haven't checked it out myself yet but will, after this post.
