Off on a diving trip soon, taking my kindle, and I was getting my dive kit together, checking the dive computer, needed to consult the Manual , and thought, why not download a copy in pdf format to the Kindle, then it will be available while in the Maldives!
Sorted :)

I thought they looked handy so I bought one but my 84 year old mother seems to have adopted it. Her eyesight is getting beyond glasses but I can dial up any font she likes on the K. Plus most of the books she likes are way out of copyright so as cheap as chips.
This sounds a good trick but I'd have to buy another one and I carry most of that stuff on the laptop.

oops
just realised it's an old thread popped to the top by a spammer.

Thanks for the handy tip anyway;)
Got mine for Xmas. Love it. Downloaded loads of freebies.
BTW: Are there any diving related or marine wildlife/conservation etc books to download out there?

By the way my Kindle became obsolete when I got me IPAD 2, as the Kindle app is free and it just locks onto your Kindle account.
