Also, willing to buddy with less experienced divers If you to want to practise. Why not send me a PM

Lots of local active dive clubs in Sussex full of eager divers. May be worth joining or getting in touch.

The real problem is there isn't much shore diving on the Sussex coast. At low tide you'll walk a long way before it comes up to your chest. That's why shipping needed piers and big ones at that. Also ships didn't come inshore to get wrecked or if they did when the tide went out they just got cut up and sold as scrap. All remaining wrecks are a distance out and reasonably deep.
Also it's silty so a good southerly churns it up and for the first mile inshore it's like yoghurt for a week.
As a result as soon as you get ten divers together they say 'This sucks - we need a boat' and Sussex suddenly has yet another diving club.
I'm with the Sussex Diving club (http://www.sussexdiving.co.uk/) and I'd usually say we have two boats in Brighton Marina ready to go but one's just thrown its steering hydraulics so only one this weekend... Well, provided the 'possible' hole in the weather happens.

Hang the diving Nigel, what's inside that yellow T Shirt will do me nicely!
But then I was ever the DOM. ;)
Oh, and that's a very nice widget you have there. Very nice indeed. A long time ago (pretty well pre-internet/GPS) I had something similar for my club locally which routinely appeared in our monthly journal.
