Hi all!

I've just qualified as a PADI DM, but having spent the last year diving with some smashing lads from Sunderland BSAC I've 'taken the plunge' and joined the club. I'm currently the only laydee diver in the club - I think they needed someone to wash up on club nights :D .

I currently have 98 dives (my 100th is proving elusive as recent dive plans have been binned, but I'll get there soon) and I have more dives in UK waters than abroad. I got my user name from my buddy Jonathan, who also likes to call me 'Short and Stroppy' although I can't think why  ;).

I've been a member of the Yorkshire Divers forum since September last year and thought I'd try this one now that I've joined BSAC (as if my productivity at work hadn't suffered enough since I joined YD :o ). Hello to everyone who knows me from there.

I'm looking forward to doing my crossover training and basically getting a lot more dives in this year. Oh, and my beard is coming along nicely  .

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum.

Perhaps you'll join the burgeoning ranks of divers that have dual/multiple agency certification.

best wishes & regards

Tony

Hiya Helen. How's your BSAC beard and beer belly coming along? Aren't you busy enough without this as well? Will you ever get any work done again?

of course this was back in the day before I had them fenced in and we had a lawn rather than a WW1 no-mans land patch of churned up mud.

Did they play football at Christmas? No but Mini-Woz has trained Dick (the brown one) to sit! And the other one (Dom) tries to get in the cat flap occasionally so the dog now has a cat flap obsession.
