Groan, Not here as well :(

Welcome to the boards mate and hopefully you will have a good time with a BSAC club this weekend at Portland :)

Just keep the Ale coming and we will be able to put up with all your DBOD alarms ruining the Silent World :)

Probably when he turned 50.

Do BSAC allow "devil hoods"?

I thought us PADI types were the spawn of the devil?

I knew the quality of this forum dropped when I was allowed on. Perhaps you will counteract my effect ...... but then again ....... :)

Has that box of yours encountered sea water yet? :)

Paul Oliver

Devil hoods are definitely allowed as i will be wearing mine as well :)

Its definitely a Pie and Ale weekend :)

So working on our last dive trip out he should manage about 30 min underwater on the DBOD over the 2 days :)

I didn't know they dunked the units in a water bath pre dive to check for bubbles. Surely H can't count that as a logged dive?

I think he will count anything at the moment to clock some hours up :)

Thanks Guys and lil' sis Puddle Fi.

As you may have guessed l'm diving with Pauls club out of Portland this weekend, which will give me an insight into how a 'proper' BSAC club is run.

Ooops, just realised my mistake.....ok it'll give me an insight into how a proper club 'should' be run.

Actually l think Paul invited me along so that he can show his club members how lucky they are that they're not padi trained.

Its definitely a Pie and Ale weekend :)

So working on our last dive trip out he should manage about 30 min underwater on the DBOD over the 2 days :)

Yup the DBOD is getting its third salt water outing, the last time l managed 3 mins on the first dive and 11 mins (split 3 mins CC, 7 mins OC) a grand total of 14 mins for the day. l'm feckin good at this CC lark.

This weekend l'm hoping to get a few more minutes than that, assuming that my inpspo head arrives back from APD tomorrow as promised.

EDIT,

Ok, so l'm a 'puter numpty, so can sometime help me get my yd avatar on to this site?

Go to User CP (top of every page on the forum) and select the avatar option in the left column. Put a dot in the appropriate space where it says "custom avatar" and then select browse and navigate to your avatar (if you are not sure where it is use the Window's "find files" option ..... assuming you know what the avatar file is called :))either on your PC on on the web.

A 'puter numpty with a YBOD?  :)
