whats the easiest way to fit an o'ring to a pillar valve insert?

got fat fingers and find this quite difficult, when it should really be quite easy!!

any tip/tools that would make this easier?

Get the correct O ring. A BS111 A clamp one will go in but keep popping out. A BS112 is the right size and will just shove straight in and stay there.
