Everything from the old forums was transferred in a few weeks ago, as Adrian mentioned.

They all started in early 2003 - as far as i'm aware, there aren't any forums / posts / archives older than that. Did we have forums before then? Were they visible on the old (ie pre-November 2005) forums? I haven't been around long enough to know that one i'm afraid :rolleyes:

There were forums prior to 2003! In 2003 we cut over to the old (archived) format, in Nov 2005 we cut over to this new format. The pre 2003 forums were archived on the old (2003 - 2005) forums. Due to the massive demand for the pre 2003 forums, IIRC about six people actually used them :rolleyes: , I took the decision that our archives would only go back one generation of forums.

You're a couple of days late to raise this one I'm afraid - our old web server was physically switched off on Saturday.

Just as a matter of interest, what was it that you were looking for? You never know, I may be able to remember it as I used to contribute to those forums too.

I was looking for some of the stuff that was said at around the time the new (current) DTP came in. Very much trying to back up a discussion in the pub type stuff.

Ah, the discussion in the pub....

Well, I know that some of the people discussing the new DTP then are still posting on these forums, so if you asked for something specific you might find someone can remember what was said at the time.
Before computers came along ISTR we had to remember stuff in our heads :D
