Hello fellow divers, this is Norway calling! I grew a bit tired of all the Conzumel threads and started looking for something colder. I found you guys! :D

-Well actually, what I mean to say is that I'm a cold water diving freak looking for ever new information and knowledge regarding this subject. Hopefully I can come around and give a few hints and advice myself also. I have an awsome experience level in cold feet and fingers!

Anyway, I live and dive in Norway. We have some awsome (cold water) diving here. If you want to try some of it one day let me know. I've been around, and know some people most places. -And for sure we (me and the missis!) double as dive trip operators from time to time also!

I know about that Junker near BJERKVIK! Nice "wash-dive" after a week of deep wreck diving in Narvik harbour I suppose! (For others, the Junker is in fresh water)
-I haven't been there, yet!

Anglerfish is a new name for me. I though it was monkfish in English? -Learning every day... It weighed 16,1 kilos. I don't know how much that is in Stones, but maybe you do!

Thanks for your welcome Adrian!

Kilos or pound would work for me, I don't think in stones :) Nice amount of meat either way.

Anglerfish and Monkfish are names for the same fish.

Heisann Kompressor. (Matt here, the one that runs Diving-in-norway  for which you are a member. )

Welcome to the forums of the best dive club in the world. :D

Generally speaking, Brieflabb is called "Anglerfish" when it's in the sea, and "Monkfish" when it's on your plate! It's too ugly a fish apparently...

Well it tastes fab that's for sure. You Norwegians sure do love your hunting when diving! :) I never really tried before I moved. But then I find the wrecks more enjoyable personally.

Velkommen til BSAC!

Matt
