Hi - I'm running a trip to Oban/Sound of Mull on the liveaboard 'Jane R' at the end of March and have a space available if anyone is interested?

Three days diving on Jane R, hoping to dive wrecks such as Rondo, Thesis, Hispannia, Breda etc, fair to say some of the best wrecks on the Scottish coastline! The group are all ex-students from Leeds Uni Union Sub Aqua Club and are a pretty experienced bunch.

Trip cost is ₤195 including: Accommodation, all meals (apart from Thurs night), air.
Transport to Oban is not covered (will have cars leaving from Leeds though) and Nitrox available on board at extra cost.

The plan:
- Head to Oban on Thursday 23rd March
- Diving on Fri, Sat & Sunday (should do a minimum of 7 dives iincluding night-dive)
- Sleeping on boat on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights, all meals covered whilst on board
- Returning Sunday afternoon

More information on the boat and some of the wrecks:

If interested please respond to: ewjchild@hotmail.com or 07968 089326

Many thanks

It was a YD trip in 03.

Got the tides wrong on half the dives,
no assistance getting back into the boat, those with twins where called winps,
a bucket for the girls to ...

The food was good.

Its was a boat past it's sell-by-date.

Funny that, I was on one of Gordans trips in Norway last year. The boat is fit only for the knackers yard. One of the Forward cabins was leaking and the hole was plugged with plastic bags.

He can be a real cantancorous sod when he wants to be, not to mention a pain in the arse. Last dive was a 40m bounce to a sandbed. Having to stop at the same place for most of the week whilst he was waiting for spares to be shipped in for his engine, limited the sites. He wouldn't be my choice for a liveaboard again.

And he tried to charge us for a lost J of O2 as his whip was leaking - he had us fill our cylinders and because ir got left on one evening, (not knowing the whip leaked) he tried to bill us for it. There was less than 30 bar of O2 as I was having to boost all the fills.
