Firstly let me apologise if there was a misleading post on my web forums.
The post refered to was put on by myself. On a straight copy and paste format it seems that as i deleted my cookies earlier today the site did not log me on as my username but as a guest. When the post was copied and pasted it took someone elses name. This was not the intention. I only post under my username and never mean to mislead anyone. Etiquette was not followed and the person should have been contacted.
My server is currently down and as soon as it is up i will amend or delete the post as requested.
The forum is relatively new and is completely non commercial, even though the site now has e-commerce. I am still getting to grips with this side of the site but will take steps in the future to make sure this does not happen.
Again i cannot apologise enough.

Thanks Rick. I'm sure for those who know me they would know there was nothing behind this but trying to put people in contact with other people and helping divers dive.

No problem Bret, we were all new to running forums at some stage and it can be a tricky thing to get to grips with!
It is not uncommon to copy posts between forums, very often information posted by a user in one place is useful to users of other forums. It happens a lot between here and YD for instance. What is customary is that you credit the original source. Our users would have no qualms about copying something from your forums - but we could always expect the original source to be credited and acknowledged and if the text were copied a link back to the original would be provided.
Welcome to the world of forums Sys Admin Bret :)
