Here's a clip of the Stoney Cove Moster...
On the opening shot, take a look in the bottom right hand corner (just for the first few secs.) ... you can just see a shoal of Roach, now look up to the sub just under the fin...

My apologies for some of the shoddy camera work, for some of it I was holding the camera with one hand facing back towards me... No apology required Paul! Brilliant clip, lovely bit of film. I've never met that one in Stoney, although I have met it's brother of a very similar size who lives in Gildenpit.

p.s. Would you mind if we moved this to the public forums? (Sys Admins will do it for you)

Thanks Paul, moved it over here. The Gildy one lives in the sunken forest, I've seen him there a couple of times. I think his name is "Sir", you'll know why if you meet the b*gger coz he's a bit big as well :)

Noop... sorry, this was taken Friday morning.
Anything we should know??
Nice pictures Paul.
We have one just as big in a local lake (Ellerton Park). For anyone who knows Ellerton it can be found over by the caravan. Scared the Cr*p out of me the first time I saw it, as the viz was very bad that day (about 1m). Will try and get a picture of it the next time Im in there.

I've just got the dvd from the other guys you can see filming on my clip.... I'll see if I can knock it into web size and post.
It is a beast!
I used to fishing for Pike when I was younger - they were always good for a tussle. I should point out that I always put them back.
Anyone think a Pike has the look of a Coelacanth about it or is it just me?
