Hello. I learnt to dive a couple of years ago with my ex and now i want to start diving again. Im a qualified sports diver and ive only ever dived with my ex so not the most confident diver. Any advise what my next steps should be?:)

Hello and welcome.

The obvious route would be to look around your area for a suitable dive club. You will find a list on the bsac site. Speak to at least 3 and arrange to go on a club night and chat to the members. Have a word with their DOs and Training Officers, explaining your diving experience. If you get on well with them, ask if you can go on a dive with them as a guest.

After that, it should be an easy decision on which one to join to give you what you would like in the short term. Later on, there is no reason why you shouldn't join another club as well - maybe they do some different diving that you would like to have a go at.

Many clubs would welcome a Sports Diver with open arms, so it's a 2 way thing.

There will be someone along here shortly with some recommendations in the Leicester area, I am sure.

Join a club local to you or go on a diving holiday where you can meet like minded peeps. Whatever u do enjoy it. :)
