Hello Im Craig
Found this forum a couple of days ago and decided to register today.
Im not a diver (yet), but I will be going to the local club tuesday evening to meet the members and have a chat.
I had a "discover scuba dive" in Mexico last month and wondered why i never did it years ago. So after a month of research in and around forums I've made up my mind and will be going for it. Trouble is I haven't made up my mind on which route to take, ie, BSAC or PADI quick course.
Still questions I can ask tomorrow at the meeting.
Anyway, all for now, chat soon.
Craig;)

Put it in your profile - some times it's easier to give advice if you know where someone is based

Craig
Welcome to the forum, as others have said whichever route you choose to get qualified you will not regret it.
Starting diving was the best idea I ever had, its a fantastic pastime.
You are of course welcome within BSAC trained via BSAC or not, we are a diving club after all.

Keep it up, you'll (eventually) feel all the better for it.
Written, but of course, by a lifetime non-smoker. :D
