hoping to get into diving. Did a couple of dives in mexico about 10 years ago, im thinking the vis might not be as good over here :D

Yup. Vis can be appalling at times.

However, because the British are not nice people and we've been at war with somebody for most of the last thousand years, you will be amazed at our wreck diving opportunities.
