snorkel crossovers

Just a query what are the equivalents of the snorkel lifesaver award? is the diver lifesaver award an equivalent ?

I recently did the Snorkel Lifesaver along with a Diver who was also taking that qualification.
We did everything exactly the same apart from the CBL where he also had to be in full drysuit gear
I would imagine that there is a direct crossover from the Scuba to Snorkel.
I'll be very interested to hear if there is not :-)

I have just forwarded a similiar query to the chief Snorkelling examiner and at present it is with the NDC working party and I am awaiting a reply from Andy Proctor regarding crossover in both directions depending on diver, scuba and snorkel, qualifications. Awaiting the reply with interest.

Due to the requirements of some local authorities regarding pool cover there is a question as to whether liversaver should be refreshed every two years. This has also gone to NDC. Again the result is awaited with interest.
