Can anybody suggest any good snorkeling beaches on the Llyn Peninsular, North wales. I have tried Porth Dinllean one July a few years ago but found the waters to be murky.
Last year I swam off Sandy Bay at Exmouth and that was very clear with lots of interesting fish.

I have just returned from doing a bit of snorkelling on the llyn.My favourite spot is aberdarron the rocks at the start of Uchymunedd. There are always lots of spider crabs here pollack!! Be carefull though as the tides rip arond the headland and i woulnt venture further than 800 or so yards from the beach at low tides. There is also a Wreck half way across the bay at Aberdaron.
There are also good spots at porthscadan on the north coast .Ofcourse viz is dependent on weather but it can be superb here after a calm spell have seen conger wrasse bass here.Great to here im not alone in snorkelling these waters.Any advice on Dorset waters would be appreciated!!
