Hi - Looking for any sites around St Austell?

I wonder if can anyone help? I'm off down to Charlestown, St Austell in a few days and I was wondering if anyone could advise any safe and interesting snorkelling sites? I've heard Gorran Haven is a good one but only on hearsay. Thanks for any advice.
